9 years ago....

....I laid in a hospital bed smiling yet crying at the same time. October 5th, 2000 was the day I brought my twin boys into this world.

We continue to celebrate BOTH their birthdays. Christopher gets balloons sent to Heaven every Oct. 5th and Cole celebrates with friends. Cole invited a few of his friends over for a birthday OSU slumber party.

We started the evening by going out to dinner at the House of Japan for some Japanese food and some entertainment of cooking the food.

Then to David's and Monsi's house for a quick celebration of Monsi's 30th birthday.

And then back home for some cake, football and late night 9 year old conversations....led by Brady.............

Nighty night boys...no inappropriate tv or conversations...I'll be down to tell you to be quiet and to fall asleep real soon....and several times!!! (Don't you just LOVE how Archie has his own blanket too?)

Felicidades Jose y Maritere

My cousin Jose Armando married Maritere in Guatemala the end of August and the pictures were finally posted. Even though we weren't there, we can tell how beautiful the day was and how much fun you all had!

We wish we would have been there!! Below are a few of the pictures (that I robbed from olivermonroy.com), these are my favorite of the family celebrating in such a glorious day. We really do have a good looking family! I love all of you and miss you all so much!

An interesting after school snack

After helping the boys do some homework, I looked outside on the patio and I found Alyssa having an after school snack.....at least she was entertaining herself for a while!

Chubs

Brady has a new pet....CHUBS! He was found in the shoe of our neighbor. Brady has taken him to school to share with his classmates of the Watershed team. He is one of two other toads the Watershed has taken in for the year. Chubs is the biggest of them all!

Chubs had some cobwebs on his face we had to clear away....and some beautiful green eyes!

We love our little critters!

Football Season

Cole is well in his first year of tackle football playing both defense (defensive end) and offense (right guard). He gets involved in as many tackles that he can. The plays happen so fast that it's hard to get a good shot, plus it's hard to see who is who with the helmets on. I'm still working on a tackle shot.

And of course there is OSU football! At home cheering on the Buckeyes for their first win of the season.

Brian and I went to campus to cheer on the Buckeyes against USC. Even though we lost it was a great game and we had a lot of fun! If you can't be in the Horse Shoe, the top floor of the closest parking garage will have to do!
