The kids lined the halls and the museum visitors walked around with remote controls and pushed the 'go-beep' button on our controls to hear what the wax museum statues had to stay about their lives. Some felt really warm and looked SO real! Brady was sure to touch and poke faces to see how 'real' the statues really were. WAY cute!!

A Night at the WAX Museum
Cole did a great job portraying Abraham Lincoln for the 2nd graders Night at the Wax Museum.
WAY cute!!

Happy Valentine's Day
This past Valentine's weekend the Moreno-Greens, the Magees, The Cormanicks and the Jacksons shared our love for one another at Mesa Vista Lodge in Hocking Hills. This 5,000 square foot, 8 bedroom cabin is just the right size for our family.
A picture of the lodge taken from http://www.mesavista-lodge.com/

Alyssa didn't remember the cabin from last year, so Katy gave her a quick tour of one of the lofts.

Brady found himself a great cozy spot for reading!

Friday night really got started with the kareoke machine and some dancing!

Due to Brady currently taking health, he is aware how many beverages gets his mom at the 'happy' level....he wasn't very happy with mom!! Sorry Brady jeez........I was just having fun.... The tween years are definitly upon us!

It didn't take long for Cole and Katy to entertain us.... Cole found a quick costume to change in to and Katy made us laugh with her Sarah Palin impression.

Saturday was for 'recovering' from Friday night, most of us slept while the boys enjoyed some time outside at the fire pit and playing horse shoes.

After we recovered throughout the day we opened some winter/valentine gifts!

Sunday brought very memorable moments at Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave (even though most of the snow and ice had already melted...)

The FAMILY:

We all really liked Cedar falls!

If you look close enough, that is the Jackson family next to the tree. Mom really wanted the tree (and us) in the picture to see the 'depth' of the cave.

Back to the cabin to roast some marshmallows and celebrate Liza's birthday.

A note of gratitude from the March of Dimes!
Dear Angie,
Because you signed the Petition for Preemies, we thought you would like to know that now millions of pregnant women and an estimated 11 million children will have much-needed health care coverage.
Today, President Obama signed the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) into law.
My heartfelt thanks to the moms and dads, grandparents, and friends who heeded the March of Dimes call to action. Children's health is not a partisan issue -- it's every family's issue -- and worry. At a time when economic woes and job losses have put health coverage at risk, this law is more necessary than ever.
