March of Dimes 2009

We walked on Sunday, April 26th with our team of Mom, George, David, Monsi, Kody, Maddie, Angie, Jessie, Brian and Amanda, Meme, Brian and I, Cole, Brady and Cole.





For the first time we made team shirts. Each of shirts stated how we are related to Cole and Christopher.

Cole finally had the chance to enjoy the outdoors with his cub scout buddies (and mom and dad)one weekend in April.

March-April Birthdays

Tyler, George, Archie and I celebrated our birthdays over the past few weeks.


Archie celebrate 2 years where George, Tyler and I celebrated 111 years between the three of us. :)

Stuart & Winston

We would like to introduce you to Stuart Jack and Winston Shiloh.



Brady has been wanting bunnies for about a year and over spring break we shopped and found our two new little friends. They are both dwarf rabbits, they eat a ton, poop a ton and chew on the crown molding in Brady's room (which we have had to line blankets around the room to eliminate the chewing). We have taken them outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine a few times. We also like to wrap them up in blankets or towels and cuddle with them. They are satisfying my baby fix, the best part is....I can put them in cage and I don't have to wakeup with them at night!

Stuart earned his middle name by being real Jack@#$ of a bunny. At first he didn't want to be held, he scratched the heck out of us every time we wanted to hold him and once we finally got a hold of him he jumped right out of our arms. But he is beginning to come around and let us hold him a bit more lately.





Winston earned his middle name of Shiloh because he is such a calm, sweet & shy little bunny that let's everyone hold him. Although, he does start fights with Stuart from time to time.







Archie is finally beginning to enjoy their company as well!

More 1st Communion Preparations

Over Spring Break, Cole had his 1st Communion picture taken with the cross necklace that his Uncle David wore for his 1st Communion, a bible that was given to me from my Papito and Mama Lily for my 1st Communion and a rosary that was given to him from Mama Lily this past summer when we went to Guatemala. He sure is a blessed little man!



Tyring out wine for the first time was an adventure that Cole didn't really enjoy. He had to be ready to receive the blood of Christ and I didn't want him to gag or spit it out in church. So we practiced........and Brady wanted in on the action too.....


They were eager for the first sip...but that is all it took for the wine tasting to be OVER!








....and the wine glasses stood alone.......



Cole was prepared on the actual day to finally receive his 1st Holy Communion! I haven't received the picture of Cole actually receiving communion from the photographer. When I do, I'll be sure to post it. Until then...these pictures pretty much depict Cole's Holy day!
