March for Babies 2008

March for Babies will be held Sunday, April 27th. We will once again be particpating.

We walk in memory of our Baby Christopher.

"You silently tiptoed into our world,
But what an imprint your tiny footprints
have left upon our hearts"

And in honor of Cole Douglas!

This walk has become a family tradition! We always walk in memory of our Angel Baby Christopher and for Cole's continued health as he grows into a young man!

Last year we raised over $200! Thanks to Rosa-Maria Moreno, George Green, Liza Magee, Christy Oquendo, Andrea Palaschak & Greta Robb for donating money last year. Their donations have made a difference! THANKS!

Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

St. Patrick's Day

A week after Ohio's winter storm the snow was just about gone...just in time for the Magee's annual St. Patrick's Day festivities.

Tyler and I started the day off running in the Dublin's 4-mile race. We didn't race, but we did finish!

After the run, Dr. Terry Magee escorted us in the green fire truck.

Alyssa's first time to participate in the parade.

All strapped in and ready to go!

After the parade, we went back to the Magee's for lunch and for the most popular St. Patrick's Day beverage of choice! :)

Crazy Lepperchaun!

Lepperchaun Loca!

As the night was ending, Brian made sure we were able to drive home...funny thing is....Liza wasn't driving!!! We were at HER house!!!

Monsi was a whole other story...... :)

Katy's and Liza's Birthday

Katy had a dancing / slumber party with a some of her friends to celebrate her 8th birthday. The girls had a great time!

The next day we celebrated Liza's birthday! Nice cake!!!

Archibald Strickler

Archie has kept us busy this winter back and forth to the vet several times. After several procedures we have come to the conclusion that he has food allergies. He is on very expensive prescription dog food. Even with his skin issues he sure is a good looking dog! He loves to soak up the sun shining through the windows. He is getting ready to turn ONE on April 7th! You can bet I'll have pictures to share! :)

Blue and Gold Dinner 2008

Cole earned his Bobcat patch and his stripes!

Brady earned his Arrow of Light patch and several others. He crossed over into boy scouts...no more little guy stuff! He's hanging with the big kids in troop 844 now.

Brady's shield contains all his 'bling' he earned as a cub scout! Way to go Brady!
